Ultrasonic Cavitation

High-intensity ultrasound waves break down fat cells for circumferential reduction in Roswell, Georgia.

Right fit

Is Ultrasonic Cavitation right for you?

A good fit

  • Localized soft pockets of fat - waist, lower abdomen, thighs, upper arms
  • Clients who prefer a gradual, gentle treatment with no temperature extremes
  • Pairing with VelaShape or RF for a skin-quality boost on the same area

Not a fit

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active liver, kidney, or heart conditions (lymphatic clearance asks more of them)
  • Clients with implanted electronic devices in the treatment area
How it works

A session, end to end.

  1. Mapping + skin prep

We mark target areas and apply an ultrasound gel that lets the wand glide and transmit energy efficiently.

  2. Ultrasound application

A handheld wand emits low-frequency ultrasound that, in published research, agitates fat cell membranes and causes them to release their contents into the surrounding tissue.

  3. Lymphatic support

We finish with a manual lymphatic massage to help your body process and clear the released contents.

Common questions

Ultrasonic Cavitation questions, answered.

How is this different from CoolSculpting or laser lipolysis?

Three different mechanisms targeting the same outcome. CoolSculpting uses cold to destroy fat cells; laser lipolysis uses light; cavitation uses ultrasound. None is universally 'better' - the right tool depends on the area, your skin, and how your body responds. We'll discuss this in your consult.

Why does hydration matter so much?

Your lymphatic system clears the released fat-cell contents through normal metabolism. Being well-hydrated for 48 hours before and after a session helps that process meaningfully.

Is it painful?

No. The most common feedback is that it's a warm, gliding-wand sensation. Some clients hear a faint high-pitched hum from the ultrasound - it's normal and harmless.

How many sessions before I see something?

Most clients see initial circumferential reduction after 2–3 sessions, with the cleanest results from a full series.

How much does cavitation cost?

Pricing depends on the treatment area and the package size you choose. See our pricing page for current rates, or book a free consult for a personalized plan.

Why isn't it FDA-cleared for fat reduction?

The cavitation devices on the market haven't pursued an FDA clearance for fat reduction specifically. Some are cleared for related uses (massage, lymphatic), but not for fat-cell reduction. We're direct with every client about what the published research does and doesn't support.

What areas can be treated?

Waist and flanks, lower abdomen, thighs, upper arms, and the bra-line and back. The wand glides over the area for 30–45 minutes per session.

Can I combine cavitation with VelaShape or RF?

Yes - and for many clients it's the smart move. Cavitation handles the soft fat layer; VelaShape or RF handles the skin quality on the same area. We'll plan the order and cadence in your consult.
